Kids and youth Latin classes
KIDS(6-10) & YOUTH(11-15)
Over the years many parents have called to ask about Latin dance lessons for kids. Well here it is, a local opportunity for children to learn to dance. Fort Erie Latin dancing is proud to offer a dance program specifically for young dancers from ages 6-15 years old.
Reasons to have your child learn Latin Dancing:
Latin dancing holds many benefits for young dancers and is a skill that youngsters will never regret acquiring. Children cultivate self-esteem, respect, coordination, and more life-enhancing skills through learning ballroom dance.
Beginner Class
Students learn fundamental skills in at least two dances in every class. Beginner classes are designed as a fun introduction to Latin dance in various dances, including but not limited to Salsa, Cha Cha, Rumba, Merengue, and Bachata. Sandra, our lead youth teacher, is very talented and experienced with children. She is in charge of the Beginner classes.
Advanced Class
Advanced classes focus on technique and choreography for Performance and Competition-oriented children. Advanced classes are taught by Leochanno.

Fort Erie Latin Dancing offers a better value in terms of the quality of the instruction your child will receive for a great price. Our classes are priced to move us toward our goal of teaching as many kids as possible to Latin dance.
6 weeks, only $60.00 incl. gst
No Partner Necessary. All classes are ongoing.
Fall/Winter Classes begin:
Monday, Oct. 19 th at 5:00 PM (Kids) and 6:00 PM (Youth)
Tuesday, Oct 20 th at 5:30 PM (Kids) and 6:30 PM (Youth)
Wednesday, Oct 21 st at 5:30 PM (Kids) and 6:30 PM (Youth)
Location
Peacock School of dance, 1731 Dominion rd, Fort Erie, Ontario.
Students are expected to:
- Wear closed-toe leather soled dress or ballroom dance shoes
- Students with long hair must wear it pulled back in pony tail or bun
- Treat teachers and students with respect and kindness
